Carrot Apple Salad

A fresh and crunchy carrot apple salad that balances sweet and savory flavors, perfect for family dinners or potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 2 large carrots, grated
  • 2 apples, cored and diced
  • 1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt or mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Grate the carrots into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Dice the apples and add lemon juice to prevent browning.
  3. Add raisins or dried cranberries to the bowl.
  4. Mix the dressing ingredients: yogurt, honey, and lemon juice.
  5. Combine the dressing with the carrot, apple, and raisin mixture.
