  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Honey (for frosting)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and dried culinary lavender.
  3. Cream butter and sugar: In another bowl, beat the unsalted butter until creamy. Gradually add the granulated sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
  4. Combine wet ingredients: Add honey, eggs, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until fully combined.
  5. Combine wet and dry mixtures: Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Fill liners and bake: Fill cupcake liners about halfway and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  7. Let cool: Once baked, let cool in the tin for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  8. Prepare the frosting: Beat the sifted powdered sugar, extra honey, and heavy cream until smooth and creamy.
  9. Frost and serve: Pipe or spread the frosting on top and sprinkle with extra dried lavender.
