Irresistible Sweet & Savory Asian Mango Glazed Chicken Twists

A delightful dish combining succulent chicken breasts with a luscious mango glaze, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mango sauce
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and sear for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Combine the mango sauce, soy sauce, and honey in a bowl, whisking until smooth.
  4. Pour the mango glaze over the chicken, reduce the heat to medium-low, and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.
  5. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer to ensure it has reached 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove the chicken from the skillet, let it rest for a couple of minutes, slice into strips, and drizzle with leftover glaze.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using sesame oil instead of olive oil, and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and green onions.
