One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles

A delightfully easy one-pan meal featuring tender chicken breasts, egg noodles, and a buttery garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp real butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by seasoning the breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Sear the chicken in a large skillet with 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat for about 5-6 minutes on each side.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in the same pan for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  5. Cook the egg noodles in the skillet for about 6-8 minutes or until they are al dente.
  6. Combine the chicken with the noodles, sprinkle with parsley, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve the dish in a serving dish and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding lemon zest, vegetables, or a splash of heavy cream.
