One-Pan Honey BBQ Chicken Rice

  • 4 chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the rice: Cook according to package instructions if you don’t have any ready.
  2. Sear the chicken: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil and season chicken with spices. Sear for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  3. Prepare the honey BBQ sauce: Combine honey and BBQ sauce in a bowl and whisk.
