One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

A comforting and creamy garlic pasta made in one pot, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (any shape)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Add your pasta and cook according to the package directions.
  3. Drain the pasta, reserving about ½ cup of the cooking water.
  4. Sauté the garlic in the pot with a drizzle of olive oil for about 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in the milk and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add the drained pasta and reserved pasta water back in, mixing until the pasta is coated.
  7. Mix in the Parmesan, adjusting with milk if necessary.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add protein like chicken or shrimp, or vegetables like spinach for added nutrition.
