  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the cabbage, dicing the onion, and chopping the bacon into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the diced onion and cook until soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Introduce the chopped cabbage to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and optionally add a splash of vinegar for tanginess.
  6. Cover the skillet and let the cabbage cook until tender, about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
