  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour (240g)
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, room temperature (113g)
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar (200g)
  • 2 Large Eggs, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • Red Gel Food Coloring
  • Blue Gel Food Coloring
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar (120g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Color the dough by dividing it and adding red and blue gel food coloring to respective bowls.
  7. Chill the colored dough portions for 30 minutes.
  8. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and roll in powdered sugar.
  9. Bake on parchment-lined baking sheets for 10-12 minutes.
  10. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
