  • 1/3 cup melted butter

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth, leaving a few chunks for texture if desired.
  4. Stir in the melted butter until combined.
  5. Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  6. Add the baking soda and salt, stirring gently to combine.
  7. Fold in the flour until just combined.
  8. Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
