Brazilian Lemonade

A lively and refreshing drink made with juicy limes and a creamy finish, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cold water
  • 2 medium limes
  • 1/2 cup sweetener (erythritol or similar)
  • 1/2 cup ice

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Limes: Start by washing the limes under cold water and cut each lime into quarters.
  2. Blend it Up: In your blender, combine the quartered limes, cold water, and sweetener. Blend on high for about 30 seconds.
  3. Strain the Mixture: Take a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth and strain the mixture into a large pitcher.
  4. Stir in the Ice: Once your lemonade is strained, stir in the ice to chill it further.
  5. Add the Creaminess (Optional): Pour in your sweetened condensed milk or almond milk and stir gently.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Garnish each glass and pour the lemonade into glasses filled with more ice.

Notes

Can be made ahead of time by preparing the lime-water mixture without ice. Add ice before serving for best flavor.
