Christmas Puppy Chow

A delightful mix of chocolate and peanut butter with a festive twist, perfect for snacking or gifting during the holidays.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 cups Chex cereal (Rice or Corn)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
  • ½ cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1½ cups powdered sugar
  • Festive sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by clearing off your counter and grabbing your biggest mixing bowl. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate and peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl: combine chocolate chips and peanut butter, microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until melted and smooth.
  3. Combine the melted chocolate mixture with Chex cereal in the mixing bowl, folding gently to coat.
  4. Add the powdered sugar: transfer the chocolate-coated Chex into a gallon-sized zip-top bag, add powdered sugar, seal, and shake until coated.
  5. Sprinkle festive sprinkles on top while the mix is still warm.
  6. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

Notes

For nut-free, substitute peanut butter with sun butter. Try adding cinnamon or swapping for white chocolate for different flavors.
