- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
- ½ cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
- Festive sprinkles
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by clearing off your counter and grabbing your biggest mixing bowl. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the chocolate and peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl: combine chocolate chips and peanut butter, microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until melted and smooth.
- Combine the melted chocolate mixture with Chex cereal in the mixing bowl, folding gently to coat.
- Add the powdered sugar: transfer the chocolate-coated Chex into a gallon-sized zip-top bag, add powdered sugar, seal, and shake until coated.
- Sprinkle festive sprinkles on top while the mix is still warm.
- Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
Notes
For nut-free, substitute peanut butter with sun butter. Try adding cinnamon or swapping for white chocolate for different flavors.
