Easy Strawberry Cobbler

A sweet and easy-to-make dessert featuring a buttery biscuit topping and juicy strawberries.

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your strawberries by mixing them with ½ cup of sugar and lemon juice. Let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Mix the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Add melted butter and milk, stirring until just combined.
  4. Assemble the cobbler by pouring the strawberry mixture into a greased baking dish, then scoop the batter over the top.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
