Refreshing Homemade Peach Lemonade

A refreshing drink that balances the tartness of fresh lemons with the juicy sweetness of ripe peaches, perfect for summer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe peaches, pitted and diced
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Start by gathering your peaches and lemons. Wash the peaches thoroughly. Cut them in half, remove the pits, and dice them into small chunks.
  2. Juicing the lemons: Roll each lemon on the counter with your palm before slicing them in half. Using a citrus juicer, squeeze out the juice from the lemons until you reach that full cup.
  3. Blend it up: Toss the diced peaches into your blender along with 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  4. Strain the mixture: Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher to catch any fibrous bits.
  5. Mix it all together: Add the fresh lemon juice, sugar, and the remaining water to the pitcher with the peach puree. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.
  6. Chill and serve: Pop the pitcher in the fridge for about an hour to chill, or pour it over ice right away.
  7. Garnish: Add lemon slices or peach wedges to each glass for an inviting presentation.
