Blackberry Cheesecake Brownies

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate chips and unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  3. Stir in the sugar, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract.
  4. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and gently fold until just combined.
  5. Beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a separate bowl until smooth.
  6. Pour two-thirds of the brownie mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer and gently swirl.
  8. Scatter fresh blackberries over the cheesecake layer.
  9. Dollop the remaining brownie batter over the blackberries and gently spread.
  10. Bake for about 35-40 minutes until edges are firm and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  11. Cool for 15 minutes and then let cool completely before slicing.

Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, and a sprinkle of powdered sugar for a charming touch.
