Grandma Mildred’s Family Favorite Kiwi Jelly

A sweet and tangy kiwi jelly recipe that brings back fond memories and adds a vibrant touch to any meal.

  • 45 Kiwifruit, sliced and chopped
  • 1/4 cup Lime Juice
  • 1 can Crushed Pineapple (undrained, 8 oz.)
  • 1 pouch Liquid Pectin (3 oz.)
  • 3 drops Green Food Coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Kiwis: Wash and peel kiwifruit, then slice and chop.
  2. Mix the Ingredients: Combine kiwis, crushed pineapple, and lime juice in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the Pectin: Sprinkle liquid pectin over the mixture and stir vigorously for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add Food Coloring (if using): Mix in green food coloring until desired color is achieved.
  5. Jar it Up: Pour mixture into clean jars, leaving 1/2 inch of space.
  6. Set and Chill: Seal jars and let sit at room temperature for 1-2 hours to set.
