Iced Orange Ginger Green Tea

A refreshing and revitalizing iced tea combining bright orange, spicy ginger, and green tea flavors, perfect for sunny afternoons.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 5 organic green tea bags
  • 2 tablespoons ginger, finely grated or minced
  • 34 tablespoons honey (to taste)
  • 2 cups fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a medium saucepan.
  2. Steep the green tea bags in the boiling water for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add the finely grated ginger and steep for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea into a large pitcher.
  5. Sweeten the tea with honey while still warm.
  6. Add the fresh orange juice and lemon juice.
  7. Cool the tea to room temperature and then refrigerate.
  8. Serve chilled in glasses filled with ice and garnish if desired.

Notes

For a fun twist, try adding muddled berries or sparkling water before serving.
