Easy Peach Cobbler with Canned Peaches

A quick and easy peach cobbler recipe made with canned peaches, perfect for nostalgic dessert lovers.

  • 1 can (29 oz) canned peaches, in syrup
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grab a 9×13 inch baking dish and coat it with cooking spray or butter.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk well.
  4. Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
  5. Open the can of peaches, drain some syrup and spread the peaches in the prepared dish.
  6. Pour the batter over the peaches, do NOT stir.
  7. Pop it in the oven for 30-40 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Once done, cool for a few minutes before serving with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

For a berry cobbler, substitute peaches with berries! You can also add spices and toppings as desired.
