Refreshing Lemonade Sorbet

A simple yet bursting-with-flavor Lemonade Sorbet, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by juicing about 8-10 lemons and collecting the zest from one lemon.
  2. Make the simple syrup by combining 2 cups of water and 1 cup of sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until dissolved.
  3. Combine the cooled simple syrup, fresh lemon juice, zest, and pinch of salt in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Chill the mixture by pouring it into a freezer-safe container, stirring every 30 minutes for the first couple of hours.
  5. Final freeze it for about four hours or until firm, then serve.

Notes
