  • 1 large egg

  • 1 cup fresh mango chunks
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the fresh mango chunks gently.
  7. Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  10. Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze, then drizzle over the cookies once cool.
