Instructions

  1. Prep yeast mixture: Warm the milk and sprinkle the yeast with a pinch of sugar; let sit until frothy.
  2. Combine dry ingredients: Whisk together flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Mix wet ingredients: Whisk melted butter, egg, and frothy yeast mixture together.
  4. Incorporate wet and dry: Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough: Knead on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  6. Let it rise: Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
  7. Roll it out: Roll the dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  8. Spread the Biscoff: Slather the rolled dough with Biscoff cookie butter.
  9. Add cinnamon and crumbs: Sprinkle with cinnamon and Biscoff cookie crumbs.
  10. Roll it up: Tightly roll the dough into a log and slice into equal pieces.
  11. Second rise: Place rolls on a greased pan, cover, and let rise for about 30-40 minutes.
  12. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  13. Bake the rolls: Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  14. Prepare the icing: Mix powdered sugar with milk to create a pourable glaze.
  15. Drizzle and enjoy: Let the rolls cool slightly, drizzle with icing, and serve warm.
