Flavorful Firecracker Hot Dogs

A fun twist on classic hot dogs with a spicy, creamy, and cheesy flair, perfect for summer cookouts.

  • 8 all-beef hot dogs
  • 8 soft hot dog buns, lightly toasted
  • Firecracker Sauce:
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Toppings:
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup diced red onions
  • ½ cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro leaves

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Firecracker Sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and fresh lime juice in a bowl.
  2. Grill the hot dogs on medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes until charred and heated through.
  3. Toast the buns on the grill for a couple of minutes until golden.
  4. Assemble your hot dogs in the toasted buns and drizzle with Firecracker Sauce.
  5. Load them up with cheese, diced onions, jalapeños, and cilantro.
  6. Serve immediately for the best flavor experience.
