Crispy Garlic Parmesan Green Beans

Fresh green beans tossed in garlic and Parmesan for a flavorful and crispy side dish.

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the green beans under cold water and pat dry; trim the ends.
  3. Toss the green beans with olive oil and minced garlic in a large bowl.
  4. Season generously with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Spread the green beans on a lined baking sheet in an even layer.
  6. Roast for about 20-25 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  7. Add grated Parmesan to the beans while hot.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crispness, blanch the beans before roasting. Consider adding a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.
