- 9 cups Corn or Rice Chex
- 1 1/4 cups white candy melts (vanilla)
- 1 1/4 cups red candy melts (vanilla)
- 1 1/4 cups blue candy melts (vanilla)
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon Paramount crystals
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup Red, White, & Blue M&Ms
- Pop Rocks (optional)
Instructions
- Prep Your Workspace: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the Candy Melts: In a microwave-safe container, combine white candy melts and Paramount crystals, and microwave until smooth.
- Coat the Chex: Pour melted white candy over the Chex and fold to coat.
- Add the Peanut Butter: Melt peanut butter, pour over Chex, and mix well.
- Time for the Sugar: Sprinkle powdered sugar over the mix and fold until coated.
- Color It Up: Divide mix into bowls, melt red and blue candy melts, drizzle over mixes, and fold.
- Finally, toss in the M&Ms and gently mix.
- Cool and Set: Spread mix on the baking sheet and let it cool completely.
- Add Pop Rocks if using, just before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container to maintain crunchiness. Can be made ahead of time.
