Easy Strawberry Shortcake Crumble

A simple and delicious dessert that combines juicy strawberries with a buttery, crumbly topping and whipped cream.

  • 4 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toss the sliced strawberries with a tablespoon of sugar or lemon juice and let them macerate for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Mix in the cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Spread the macerated strawberries into a baking dish and sprinkle the crumble topping over the berries.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  7. Serve the warm crumble in bowls topped with whipped cream.
