Homemade Cherry Lemonade

A vibrant and refreshing cherry lemonade perfect for summer gatherings and cozy evenings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sweet cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Wash cherries thoroughly, pit and halve them.
  2. Juice those lemons: Roll lemons on the countertop, then slice and juice until you have 1 cup.
  3. Make the simple syrup: Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a saucepan over medium heat until dissolved.
  4. Blend the cherries: Add pitted cherries to a blender and blend until smooth.
  5. Combine everything: In a pitcher, mix cherry puree, lemon juice, simple syrup, and remaining water. Stir well.
  6. Chill and serve: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, then serve over ice with garnishes.

Notes

This lemonade can last up to 5-7 days in the fridge. Use leftover cherry puree in yogurt or oatmeal.
