Crispy Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Wraps

A flavorful twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, wrapped in crispy flour tortillas for a deliciously crunchy experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Optional: mayonnaise or your favorite sauce

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by gathering everything and slicing the steak, onion, and bell pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  3. Toss in the sliced onion and green bell pepper, seasoning with salt and pepper. Sauté until soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Once the veggies are cooked, push them aside and add the ribeye steak to the skillet. Let it sear for about 2 minutes.
  5. Lay the provolone slices over the steak and veggies, cover, and reduce heat to low to melt the cheese.
  6. Assemble the wraps by placing the cheesy filling in the center of a tortilla, optionally adding sauce, then folding and rolling tightly.
  7. Grill the wraps seam-side down over medium heat for about 3 minutes per side until crispy and golden.
  8. Slice the wraps in half diagonally and serve.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add jalapeños. For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free tortillas or lettuce wraps.
