One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

A comforting and easy one pot creamy garlic pasta that combines bold flavors and creamy sauce for a perfect weeknight dinner.

  • Pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
  • 46 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 cups whole milk (or low-fat/plant-based milk)
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the pot by adding olive oil and heating it over medium.
  2. Sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until golden.
  3. Add the uncooked pasta and enough water or broth to cover it by an inch.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, cover, and boil for 8-10 minutes until al dente.
  5. Create the creamy sauce by adding milk gradually while stirring.
  6. Sprinkle in Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
  8. Finish with chopped parsley if desired before serving.
