Strawberry and Orange Salad with Citrus Syrup & Fresh Mint

A refreshing summer salad featuring strawberries and oranges drizzled with a citrus syrup and topped with fresh mint.

  • 2 oranges, segmented
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruits: Wash strawberries, slice them, and segment the oranges.
  2. Mix it up: In a bowl, combine the strawberries and oranges.
  3. Make the citrus syrup: Whisk together orange juice, honey (or agave), and lemon juice.
  4. Toss it all together: Drizzle syrup over the fruit and mix gently with mint leaves.
  5. Plate up: Transfer the salad to a serving dish and garnish with mint.

Notes

Best served chilled. Allow salad to sit for 10-15 minutes before serving for enhanced flavor.
