  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups fresh nectarines, diced

  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  5. Blend the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Add the diced nectarines and gently fold them into the batter.
  7. Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for about 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  10. Make the glaze by whisking powdered sugar and milk until smooth, then drizzle it over the cooled bread.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute butter with coconut oil and milk with plant-based alternatives. You can also add nuts or spices for variations.
