Spooktacular Halloween Cheesecake

An irresistible Halloween Cheesecake that’s creamy, rich, and adorned with fun candy eyes, perfect for any spooky celebration.

  • 20 Oreos
  • ¼ cup (57g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 32 ounces (900g) full-fat block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup (60mL) heavy whipping cream
  • 5 ounces (153g) Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Orange food coloring
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 14 Oreos, chopped
  • 1 cup homemade whipped cream
  • Candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Prepare the crust by crushing 20 Oreos into fine crumbs and mixing it with melted butter. Press into a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Make the filling by beating cream cheese until smooth, then mixing in sugar, heavy cream, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and orange food coloring.
  4. Add the eggs and egg yolks one at a time, mixing until just combined.
  5. Stir in the chopped Oreos gently.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes until set with a slight jiggle in the center.
  7. Cool the cheesecake in the oven for about an hour, then at room temperature for another hour.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Top with whipped cream and candy eyes before serving.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free Oreos. This cheesecake can be made ahead of time and keeps well in the fridge for up to a week.
