Refreshing Homemade Watermelon Sorbet

A burst of refreshing flavor that captures the essence of summer in a sweet, icy treat.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Watermelon, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup Sugar (or to taste)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Mint Leaves

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Watermelon by cutting it into large chunks and removing the rind.
  2. Blend the watermelon chunks in a blender until smooth.
  3. Add sweetness by mixing in the sugar and lemon juice, then blend again.
  4. Chill the mixture in a shallow baking dish and freeze, stirring every 30 minutes for the first couple of hours.
  5. The Final Scoop: After 4-6 hours, scoop the sorbet with a warm ice cream scoop.

Notes

Serve in chilled bowls or hollowed-out watermelon halves for presentation. Garnish with mint leaves or lemon zest.
